– Check gap -a- again over complete length of retaining strip

-1-, after making changes, using gauge -3371- .

• Distance -a- between -arrows-: 0.9…1.1 mm

– Press water channel -1- into retaining strip -5-, starting from

top -arrow-.

Note

The water channel -1- should not protrude above the edge of the

roof (wind noises).

– When doing this, guide water channel lip -3- behind edge of

windscreen -4-.

– Bond adhesive tape of retaining strip on front wing -2- as fol‐

lows.

– Pull off protective backing -2- in direction of -arrow b- and

press water channel onto front wing firmly.

remove sill panel cover.

❑ Installing

• Check spreader nuts -3- for

damage and renew if nec‐

essary.

– Locate sill cover, screw

bolts -2- in and tighten.

❑ Specified torque: 2 Nm

3 - Expanding nut

❑ Qty. 3.
❑ Renew if damaged
