REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO. 1 MONOLITHIC CONVERTER PROTECTOR (for Bank 2)

(a) Install the 4 No. 1 converter protector stays to the front exhaust pipe assembly.

(b) Install the lower No. 1 monolithic converter protector and upper No. 1 monolithic converter protector

with the 4 bolts and 4 nuts.

Torque:

11 N·m {107 kgf·cm, 8ft·lbf}

HINT:

Install the No. 1 monolithic converter protector within the angle range specified in the illustration.

2. INSTALL MONOLITHIC CONVERTER PROTECTOR (for Bank 2)

(a) Install the 2 No. 1 converter protector stays and 2 No. 2 converter protector stays to the front exhaust

pipe assembly.

(b) Install the lower monolithic converter protector and upper monolithic converter protector with the 4

bolts and 4 nuts.

Torque:

11 N·m {107 kgf·cm, 8ft·lbf}

HINT:

Install the monolithic converter protector within the angle range specified in the illustration.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 MONOLITHIC CONVERTER PROTECTOR (for Bank 1)

(a) Install the 4 No. 1 converter protector stays to the front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly.

(b) Install the lower No. 1 monolithic converter protector and upper No. 1 monolithic converter protector

with the 4 bolts and 4 nuts.

Torque:

11 N·m {107 kgf·cm, 8ft·lbf}

HINT:

Install the No. 1 monolithic converter protector within the angle range specified in the illustration.

4. INSTALL MONOLITHIC CONVERTER PROTECTOR (for Bank 1)

(a) Install the 2 No. 1 converter protector stays and 2 No. 2 converter protector stays to the front No. 2

exhaust pipe assembly.

(b) Install the lower monolithic converter protector and upper monolithic converter protector with the 4

bolts and 4 nuts.

Torque:

11 N·m {107 kgf·cm, 8ft·lbf}

HINT:

Install the monolithic converter protector within the angle range specified in the illustration.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1) 

2. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) 

3. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install a new gasket and the front exhaust pipe assembly to the exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH

with 3 new nuts.

Torque:

54 N·m {554 kgf·cm, 40ft·lbf}

4. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1) 

5. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) 

6. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly to the exhaust pipe support.

(b) Install a new gasket and the front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly to the exhaust manifold sub-assembly

LH with 3 new nuts.

Torque:

54 N·m {554 kgf·cm, 40ft·lbf}

7. INSTALL FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the center exhaust pipe assembly to the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

(b) Install 2 new gaskets to the front exhaust pipe assembly and front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly.

(c) Install the center exhaust pipe assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque:

48 N·m {489 kgf·cm, 35ft·lbf}

9. INSTALL TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the tailpipe assembly to the exhaust pipe support.

(b) Install a new gasket to the center exhaust pipe assembly.
