1.

Remove heater & cooling unit assembly. Refer to 

HA-49, "HEATER  & COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY :

Removal and Installation"

.

2.

Remove control cable from CVT shift selector assembly. Refer to 

TM-156, "Removal and Installation"

.

3.

Remove diagnosis sensor unit. Refer to 

SR-29, "Removal and Installation"

.

4.

Remove yaw rate/side/decel G sensor. Refer to 

BRC-125, "Removal and Installation"

.

5.

Remove front seat assembly.
• Manual seat: Refer to 

SE-88, "Removal and Installation"

.

• Power seat: Refer to 

SE-102, "Removal and Installation"

.

6.

Remove harness fixing clip (A) on the underside of driver seat
assembly and passenger seat assembly.

7.

Remove center console assembly. Refer to 

IP-28, "Removal and Installation"

.

8.

Remove center pillar lower garnish. Refer to 

INT-25, "CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH : Removal

and Installation"

.

9.

Remove dash side finisher. Refer to 

INT-24, "DASH SIDE FINISHER : Removal and Installation"

.

10. Disengage magic fastener, and then remove front floor carpet.

NOTE:
Remove carpet hook.
1.

Disengage carpet hook fixing pawls using a remover tool (A).

2.

Remove carpet hook from front floor carpet.

INSTALLATION

Note the following item, and install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

Replace diagnosis sensor unit fixing bolts with a new part after removal. Never reuse diagnosis sen-
sor unit fixing bolts.

REAR FLOOR CARPET

REAR FLOOR CARPET : Removal and Installation

CAUTION:

• When removing, always use a remover tool that is made of plastic to prevent damage to the parts.
• Never damage the body.

REMOVAL

1.

Remove luggage side lower finisher. Refer to 

INT-43, "LUGGAGE SIDE LOWER FINISHER : Removal

and Installation"

.

2.

Remove second seat. Refer to 

SE-114, "Removal and Installation"

.

3.

Remove rear console assembly. Refer to 

IP-32, "Removal and Installation"

.

4.

Remove harness fixing clip (A). (with third seat hold switch)

5.

Disengage magic fastener, and then remove rear floor carpet.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.
