REMOVAL

CAUTION:

• Before removing sunroof motor, check that glass lid is fully closed.
• After removing sunroof motor, never attempt to rotate sunroof motor assembly as a single unit.

Fully close glass lid.

2.

Remove headlining. (without rear display) Refer to 

INT-35, "Removal and Installation"

Remove roof console. Refer to 

INT-33, "Exploded View"

SUNROOF MOTOR ASSEMBLY

4.

Disconnect harness connector (A) from sunroof motor assembly.

5.

Remove sunroof motor assembly fixing screws (B), and then
remove sunroof motor assembly.

INSTALLAITON

1.

Move the sunroof motor assembly laterally by little so that the gear is completely engaged into the wire on
the sunroof unit assembly and mounting surface becomes parallel. Then secure the sunroof motor
assembly with screws.

2.

Install headlining. (without rear display) Refer to 

INT-35, "Removal and Installation"

.

3.

Install roof console. Refer to 

INT-33, "Exploded View"

.

NOTE:
After installation sunroof motor, perform additional service. Refer to 

RF-21, "REAR SUNROOF : Description"

FRONT SUNROOF : Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

• Always work with a helper.
• Fully close the glass lid assembly, before removal, then never operate sunroof motor assembly after

removal.

• After removing sunroof motor assembly, never attempt to rotate sunroof motor assembly as a single

unit.

• When remove/install sunroof unit, use cloths to protect the seats and trim from damage.
• After installing the sunroof unit and glass lid, perform the leak test and check that there is no mal-

function.
