6. Disconnect the windshield washer hose.  

7. Remove the windshield washer reservoir.  

8. Remove the windshield washer pump (17664) if necessary.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. 

z

Fill the windshield washer reservoir with ultra-clear windshield washer concentrate C9AZ-19550-
AC or BC or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESR-M17P5-A.

CAUTION: Do not make electrical connection prior to filling the windshield 

washer reservoir. Do not operate the windshield washer pump prior 
to filling the windshield washer reservoir.

NOTE:

When the battery (10655) is disconnected and reconnected, some 
abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its 
adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or 
more to relearn the strategy.
