2. Remove the rear driveshaft. For additional information, refer to DRIVESHAFT & UNIVERSAL 

JOINTS .  

3. Using a suitable tool, remove the oil seal.

Installation 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Using the special tool, install the oil seal.

SHIFT SWITCH - 4WD INDICATOR 

Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to JACKING & HOISTING .  

2. Remove the 4WD indicator switch. 

1. Disconnect the 4WD indicator switch electrical connector.  

2. Remove the 4WD indicator switch.

Installation 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
