1-2 ACCUMULATOR PISTON 

Removal 

Compress the 1-2 accumulator cover and remove the accumulator piston retaining ring. See Fig. 56 . Note the 
location of the 1-2 accumulator springs for reference during assembly. Remove the 1-2 accumulator. See Fig. 
57 . Remove the 1-2 accumulator cover. Remove the lower 1-2 accumulator spring. Remove the accumulator 
piston. Remove the upper 1-2 accumulator spring.

Installation 

Install the 1-2 accumulator. See Fig. 57 . Install the 1-2 accumulator upper spring. Install the accumulator 
piston. Install the 1-2 accumulator lower spring. Install the cover and seal assembly. Compress the accumulator 
and install the accumulator piston retaining ring. See Fig. 56 .
