RADIATOR GRILLE REPLACEMENT (GMC)

Preliminary Procedure:  
Remove the radiator air upper baffle/deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector 
Replacement
 .

Radiator Grille Bolts (Qty: 4) 

Tighten: 7 N.m (62 lb in) 

NOTE:

Refer to Fastener Notice .

Radiator Grille 

Procedure 

1. Disengage the six clips by using a pair of flat-bladed pliers pinching the retainer tabs 

securing the grille to the hood stop and hood bumper brackets.  

2. Separate the radiator grille from the hood stop and hood bumper brackets by pushing 

the radiator grille outward away from the vehicle.

DOOR BODY SIDE MOLDING REPLACEMENT (CHEVROLET)

Component Name

Preliminary Procedure 

1. Remove the radiator air upper baffle/deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector 

Replacement .  

2. Remove the front bumper fascia trim cap. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Trim Cap 

Replacement (GMC) .

Radiator Grille Bolt (Qty: 4) 

Tighten: 7 N.m (62 lb in) 

NOTE:

Refer to Fastener Notice .

Radiator Grille 

Procedure 

1. Secure the front grille to the vehicle.  

2. Install the front bumper fascia trim cap. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Trim Cap 

Replacement (GMC) .

Front Side Door Molding 
Tip: 

1. The part and surface should be 21°C (70°F) prior to installation. The vehicle should 

remain 21°C (70°F) for one hour after assembly to allow adhesive to develop 
sufficient bond strength.  

2. Using a J 25070 Heat Gun in a circular motion, warm the front side door molding 

prior to removal. Carefully clean the body panel thoroughly prior to bonding the new 
front body side molding to the door.  

3. Ensure the front door is in the closed position prior to installing the new front side 

door molding.  

4. Remove the protective liner from the backside of the molding adhesive tape.  

5. Position the pin on the backside of the molding to the round hole at the rear edge of

the front door first, then to the oval hole at the front edge of the door.  

6. Ensure full adhesion of the molding to the door using the palm of the hand with a 

clean dry towel working from the rear edge of the door to the front, down the entire 
molding.

moldings.

5. Position the pin on the backside of the molding to the round hole at the front edge of 

the rear door first, then to the oval hole at the rear edge of the door.  

6. Ensure full adhesion of the molding to the door using the palm of the hand with a 

clean dry towel working from the rear edge of the door to the front, down the entire 
molding.
