Place spring 31 430 on piston. 

After oiling O-ring, mount whole piston into the 

housing.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Place 2 O rings 31 470 on brake fluid hydraulic 

cylinder cap and apply oil or Vaseline, and then 

install cylinder cap.    

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Press cylinder cap using special tool 5 X 46 000 

295, and then install snap ring. 

Remove the special tool.

After bending brake band with pressure, install it 

into housing, and adjust position between the 

brake band and two plungers.

3.3、Assembling brake D and 1

st

 one-way overrun clutch     

 

 

 

 

Install O-rings 17 020 and 17 030 in piston 17. 

010, and apply lubricant. Build piston into the 

housing with flange part upward.

Install diaphragm spring 17 040and thrust washer 

17 090.   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Install one-way overrun clutch 17 130 into the 

clutch outer gear ring, USE CARE to right tooth 

match, and push clutch downwards to stop.     

 

 

 

 

 

 

Install retainer ring 17 140, and retain with snap 

ring 17 150.
