FUNCTION

The following warning chime functions are controlled by BCM.

Ignition key warning chime

Sounds warning chime when driver’s door is opened with key in ignition key cylinder and
ignition switch “OFF” or “ACC” position.

Light warning chime

Sounds warning chime when driver’s door is opened with light switch in the 1st or 2nd posi-
tion and ignition switch “OFF” or “ACC” position.

Seat belt warning chime

Sounds warning chime for about 6 seconds if ignition switch is turned “ON” when driver’s
seat belt is unfastened

IGNITION KEY WARNING CHIME

Power is supplied at all times
