Troubleshooting
The mobile online services system is capable of self-diagnosis

(OBD).
Fault finding is performed via 

Guided Fault Finding

 on the

Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .
When there are concerns about the function, it necessary to be

familiar with the Mobile Online Services functions.
For additional information. Refer to the Owner's Manual and

Control Module for Emergency Call

If the control module is replaced, select the 

Replacement

 func‐

tion for the appropriate control module in 

Guided Fault Find-

ing

 using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .

Removing
– Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment.
– Remove the ignition key, if equipped.
– Remove the Instrument Cluster - KX2- . Refer to ⇒  Electrical

Equipment; Rep. Gr.  90 ; Instrument Cluster; Instrument Clus‐

ter - KX2- ; Removing and Installing .

– Disconnect the connectors -1- and -2-.
– Press the catches upward opposite of the -A arrows- and slide

the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Commu‐

nication Unit - J949- -3- out toward the rear -arrow B-.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
