The skid control ECU exchanges signals with the ECM, steering angle sensor, yaw rate and deceleration sensor,

power steering ECU, main body ECU and combination meter via CAN communication.

DESCRIPTION

1. 

There is a malfunction in the skid control ECU internal circuit.

2. 

There is an open or short in the CAN communication line between the combination meter and the skid

control ECU.

3. 

HINT:

The Techstream cannot be used when there is a malfunction in the skid control ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:

When replacing the VSC actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration

Make sure the skid control ECU is not in test mode before proceeding.
Before using these procedures, first check other DTCs which may cause the ABS warning light to remain
on.
