REMOVAL

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:

After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the
battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice

before proceeding with work

(a) Remove the front seat headrest assembly.

3. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH

(a) Operate the front power seat switch LH (slide switch) to move the seat to the foremost position.

(b) Detach the clip to remove the inner seat track bracket cover LH

in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

4. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH

(a) Detach the clip to remove the outer seat track bracket cover LH

in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): REMOVAL; 2015 ...

(a) Remove the 2 bolts.

(b) Operate the front power seat switch LH (slide switch) to move the seat to the rearmost position.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts.

(d) Operate the front power seat switch LH (slide switch) to move the seat to the center position and operate

the front power seat switch LH (reclining switch) to move the seatback to the upright position.

(e) w/ Vertical Adjuster:

Operate the front power seat switch LH (vertical switch) to move the seat to the highest position.

(f) w/ Leg Support Adjustment Switch:

Operate the seat variable cushion switch to move the seat to the foremost position.

(g) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the battery negative (-) terminal to disable the

SRS system.

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected

Front Seat Airbag Assembly LH

(1) Place a finger on the slider, slide the slider to release the lock, and then disconnect the front seat side

airbag connector.
