(a) Set SST on the retainer.

(d) Remove the fuel suction with pump and gauge tube assembly from the fuel tank.

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel suction

with pump and gauge tube assembly.

that the fuel pump operates.

NOTICE:

These tests must be performed within 10 seconds to prevent
the coil from burning out.

Keep the fuel pump as far away from the battery as possible.

Always turn the voltage on and off on the battery side, not
the fuel pump side.

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel suction

with pump and gauge tube assembly.

tighten the retainer one complete turn by hand.
