REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the fuel suction with pump and gauge tube

2. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the fuel sender gauge connector.

(b) Press down on the sender gauge claw labeled A. Then slide the

sender gauge upward to remove it.

1. INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

(a) Check that the float moves smoothly between F and E.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table

below.

Float level is F

(upper)

12 to 18 Ω

Float level is E (lower)

405 to 415 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel sender gauge

assembly.

1. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

(a) Set the sender gauge to the fuel sub tank. Then slide the sender

gauge downward to install it.

(b) Connect the fuel sender gauge connector.

2. INSTALL FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the fuel suction with pump and gauge tube
