Turn the ignition switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds. 4. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on [A]. 5. Wait for 5 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON. 6. Operate the accelerator pedal in accordance with the following procedure [B]. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Accel Sens. No. 1 Volt %, and Accel Sens. No.2 Volt %. a. Slowly depress the accelerator pedal until Accel Sens. No.1 Volt % is approximately 30% and Accel Sens. No.2 Volt % is approximately 46%, and then slowly release the accelerator pedal. b. 7. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes [C]. 8. Read the pending DTCs. HINT: If a pending DTC is output, the system is malfunctioning. 9. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / All Readiness. 10. Input the DTC: P2121. 11. Check the DTC judgment result. TESTER DISPLAY DESCRIPTION NORMAL DTC judgment completed System normal ABNORMAL DTC judgment completed System abnormal INCOMPLETE DTC judgment not completed Perform driving pattern after confirming DTC enabling conditions N/A Unable to perform DTC judgment HINT: If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction. 12. If no pending DTC is output, perform a universal trip and check for permanent DTCs
