2. Disconnect the ECU connector from ECU.
3. Disconnect ADC control unit connector (C–62).

Is the continuity established between terminals (C–60) 1 and
(C–62) 4? After checking, connect the ADC control unit
connector.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

The on/off signal line of the shift on the fly system is
short–circuited to GND.

The system enters into the fail-safe mode because of
fusing or system protection.

(If a short–circuit is observed on GND, the output to
the on/off signal line becomes 0V.)
