• Use double-sided tape after hardening for roof side molding clips.
• Securely insert molding rear end cap onto roof rear end cutout (installation standard).
• When installing roof side molding of windshield glass portion, check that body side molding fas-

tener is securely inserted and then press in.

• Never wash the vehicle within 24 hours so as to keep adhesive.

REMOVAL

1.

Remove front roof rail cover with remover tool (A).

CAUTION:

Apply protective tape (B) around the roof rail.

2.

Remove rear roof rail cover with remover tool (A).

CAUTION:

Apply protective tape (B) around the roof rail.

3.

Remove roof rail mounting bolts, and then remove roof rail assembly.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Removal

1.

Fully open front door glass.

2.

Remove front door outside molding fixing screw (A).

Insert a remover tool (A) into lower space.

4.

Disengage pawls of fixing front door outside molding with flated-
blade screwdriver (B).

CAUTION:

Apply protection tape (C) around outer circumference of
front door.

5.

Twist door outside molding toward the outside of the vehicle,
and then lift up and remove it while disengaging the pawls.

Installation

Note the following item, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

When installing front door outside molding, check that pawl (1)
is accurately aligned with mounting hole (2), then press in.

SLIDE DOOR OUTSIDE MOLDING

Removal

1.

Fully open slide door glass.

2.

Remove slide door corner outer cover. Refer to 

EXT-36, "Removal and Installation"

.

3.

Remove slide door outside molding fixing screw (A).

4.

Lift up slide door outside molding toward vehicle upper to remove.
