CHECK COMMUNICATION LINE
SHORT CIRCUIT.
1. Disconnect ECM connector and

IMMU connector.

2. Check continuity between IMMU ter-

minal

Continuity should not exist.

3. Turn ignition switch to ON.
4. Check voltage between IMMU termi-

nal

No voltage should exist.

1. Check the signal between ECM ter-

SULT-II or oscilloscope when igni-
tion switch is turned ON.

2. Some signals can be detected dur-

ing 750 msec. just after ignition
switch is turned “ON”.
