Install the hog rings of seatback trim in position, and then securely connect the trim or trim cord with
the pad side wire. 

SEAT CUSHION

Disassembly

1.

Remove the seat cushion outer finisher.
1.

Remove the pawls, and then lifter lever knob cap (1). (seat
with lifter only)

2.

Remove the mounting screw, and remove the lifter lever (2).
(seat with lifter only)

3.

Pull snap ring (1) downward, and remove reclining lever
knob (2) from seat frame assembly with hook and picktool.

4.

Remove the metal clips and mounting screw (A), and then
pull out seat cushion outer finisher.

2.

Remove the seat cushion inner finisher.
1.

Remove the seat belt buckle. Refer to 

SB-8, "SEAT BELT BUCKLE : Removal and Installation"

.

2.

Remove the pawls and mounting screw (A), and then
remove seat cushion inner finisher.

3.

Remove the seat cushion trim and seat cushion pad.

FRONT SEAT

Seat with lifter

1.

Remove mounting bolts of seat cushion frame. Remove seat cushion assembly from seat frame
assembly.

2.

Remove seat cushion trim that is hooked on seat cushion frame. Remove seat cushion and seat
cushion pad.

3.

Remove the hog rings, and separate the seatback trim and seatback pad.

Seat without lifter

1.

Remove the hog rings, and separate the seat frame assembly and seat cushion assembly.

2.

Remove the hog rings, and separate the seatback trim and seatback pad.

Assembly

Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

CAUTION:

Install the hog rings of seat cushion trim in position, and then securely connect the trim or trim cord
with the pad side wire.

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

When removing and installing, use shop cloths to protect parts from damage.

1.

Release U-shaped wire from seat cushion hook that is located on front of seat cushion.

2.

Remove seat belt from slot that is located in rear side of seat cushion.

3.

Fold seatback forward.

REAR SEAT

4.

Roll up seatback trim (A). Remove mounting bolts (B) of seat-
back frame and back side bracket assembly. Remove back side
bracket assembly from seatback frame.

5.

Put seatback on seat cushion and remove them together from the vehicle.

6.

Remove mounting bolts of back side bracket assembly. Remove back side bracket assembly from the
vehicle.

7.

Remove the striker assembly.
1.

Remove the luggage side lower finisher. Refer to 

INT-32, "LUGGAGE SIDE LOWER FINISHER :

Removal and Installation"

.

2.

Remove the striker assembly mounting bolts.

INSTALLATION

1.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

When removing and installing, use shop cloths to protect parts from damage.

2.

Tighten mounting bolts of seatback (1) in numerical order as per
the following figure.

Disassembly

1.

Remove the seatback trim and seatback pad.
1.

Remove the seatback retainers (A).

2.

Remove the seatback trim and seatback pad from seatback frame.

3.

Remove the hog rings to separate the seatback trim and seatback pad.

2.

Remove the seatback silencer.

3.

Remove the seat lock assembly.
