POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect smart entrance control unit connector.
3. Check voltage between smart entrance control unit harness connector M101 terminal 49 (W/L), 56 (R/B) and ground.

30A fusible link (letter B, located in fuse and fusible link box)

Circuit breaker

15A fuse [No. 5, located in fuse block (J/B)]

Harness for open or short between smart entrance control unit and fuse

Harness for open or short between smart entrance control unit and circuit breaker

I

Harness for open or short between circuit breaker and fusible link

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between smart entrance control unit harness connector M101 terminal 53 (B) and ground.

CHECK DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH SIGNAL

With CONSULT-II

I

Check door lock/unlock switch input signal (“CDL LOCK SW” “CDL UNLOCK SW”) in “DATA MONITOR” mode with
CONSULT-II.

When door lock/unlock switch is turned to LOCK:

Without CONSULT-II

1. Disconnect smart entrance control unit harness connector.
2. Check continuity between smart entrance control unit harness connector M99 terminal 13 (GY), 14 (L) and ground.

1. Disconnect power window main switch harness connector.
2. Check continuity between power window main switch (door lock/unlock switch) terminals.
