Check that all doors are automatically locked at the vehicle speed of more than 12 km/h (7 MPH).

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Vehicle speed signal circuit is OK.

NO

CHECK VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Check vehicle speed signal “VEHICLE SPEED” in “Data Monitor” mode.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 2.

NO

>> Repair or replace vehicle speed signal circuit.

CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

Refer to @@@.

• Back door unlock (hatchback)
• Trunk lid unlock (sedan)
Remote control entry function is available when operating the remote buttons.

Check BCM "RKE OPE COUN1" in DATA MONITOR mode with CONSULT-III.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Keyfob is OK.

NO

CHECK KEYFOB FUNCTION

Do doors lock and unlock when using the keyfob buttons?

YES or NO?

YES

>> Keyfob is OK. 

NO

>> GO TO 2.

2.

CHECK KEYFOB BATTERY

Check by connecting a resistance (approximately 300

Ω

) so that the

current value becomes about 10 mA.

Is the measurement value within specification?

YES

>> Key fob battery is OK.

NO

>> Replace keyfob battery.
