INSTRUMENT PANEL WARNING LAMP ASSEMBLY

CHECK DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH INDICATOR INPUT SIGNAL

Check continuity between instrument panel warning lamp assembly
connector M37 terminal 5 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 4.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness ground.

CHECK DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect BCM.

2.

Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M18 terminal 32
and instrument panel warning lamp assembly connector (B)
M37 terminal 3.

3.

Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M18 terminal 32 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 4.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

5.

CHECK BCM OUTPUT SIGNAL

1.

Connect BCM connector.

>> Replace BCM. Refer to 

BCS-57, "Removal and Installation of BCM"

CHECK FUNCTION

 With CONSULT-III

Check door switches “DOOR SW-DR” in “Data Monitor” mode with CONSULT-III.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Door switch is OK.

NO

>> Refer to 

DLK-296, "DRIVER SIDE : Diagnosis Procedure"

CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Check signal between BCM connector and ground with oscillo-
scope.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 4.

NO

>> GO TO 2.

2.

Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M18 terminal 29
and door switch connector (B) B34 terminal 2.

3.

Check continuity between BCM connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness between BCM and door switch.

CHECK DOOR SWITCH 

Check door switch.
Refer to 

DLK-297, "DRIVER SIDE : Component Inspection"

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 4.

NO

>> Replace front door switch (driver side). Refer to 

XX-XX, "*****"

CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
