The leveling motor drive test of headlight leveling unit
must be performed with the vehicle at a standstill (When
a vehicle speed signal is input from the headlight
automatic leveling ECU, the leveling motor drive test
cannot be performed).

Hook up the scan tool or ground terminal 1 of data link
connector.
2.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3.
Turn ON the headlight switch.
4.
Check that the headlight leveling operates downward for 3
seconds.
NOTE:
｠
When the leveling of the headlight faces downward at the
time of drive test start, it stays as is.
｠
Only one drive test is possible after the ignition switch is
turned to the ON position.
5.
Check that the headlight leveling operates upward for 3
seconds.
