The instrument panel and floor console have the fol-
lowing features:

•

A black panel <DE>, a silver panel <ES, LS>, a 
wood panel <GTS> or a geometric pattern panel 
<GTS> is used for the instrument panel garnish.

•

Integrating the passenger-side air bag door 
design with the instrument panel reduces noise 
and improves the appearance.

•

An appealing, ice-blue color (or white for some 
models) is used for the LED power source illumi-
nating the audio controls and switches.

•

The instrument panel has been lowered to 
improve front visibility.

•

The center panel has a smooth center surface 
and unique audio and heater control panels.

•

Switches and dials have been enlarged to make 
them easier to operate.

•

The glove box has a damper for a better feel 
when closing. <Except DE> The glove box is illu-
minated.

•

The multi-center display is aligned with the top of 
the instrument panel for improved visibility of the 
audio display and other controls. <Except DE>

•

The integrated meter hood-instrument panel con-
struction eliminates distracting reflections from 
illumination at night for better safety.

•

A center panel box has been provided for conve-
nient storage of small items. <Some models>

•

A front box (4 CDs can be stored), a coin holder 
<Vehicles without heated seat>, a tray and a con-
sole box (18 CDs can be stored) on the floor con-
sole improve storage capacity.

•

The cup holder is designed for any kind of con-
tainer from mugs to plastic bottles to small cups.

•

For greater comfort, the arm rest features a soft 
pad.

•

The tissue holder and pen holders are fitted 
under the arm rest for added convenience.

•

A slit for a power cord is on both sides of the con-
sole box so that accessory sockets can be used 
even with the lid closed.

The overhead container combines the reading 
lights, sunglasses holder <Vehicles with sunroof> 
in a compact unit that is easier to use.

•

Sun visors are installed at the driver and front 
passenger seats, each with a sliding plate. On 
vehicles with sunroof the sun visors include a 
lighted vanity mirror.

•

Assist grips with storage compartments are 
installed for the both rear seats. <Vehicles with-
out sunroof> When not in use, they can be folded 
against the ceiling for a more spacious interior.

•

A large coat hanger has been attached to the 
left-rear assist grip for easier use. <Vehicles with

The front seats are either manual seats or power 
seats <Some models>. These seats offer the follow-
ing advantages:

The seats are designed to be adjustable in the 
reclining and sliding directions.

The head restraint can be adjusted up and down. 
Injection-molded head restraints have been 
designed for a smoother appearance.

Spring construction makes the seat cushions and 
seat backs more comfortable.

A seat-back pocket (driver’s side) is provided.
