INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

>>A<< SUNROOF DRIP PLATE AND SUNROOF
LID SLIDE GUIDE INSTALLATION

1. Install the sunroof drip plate and sunroof lid slide guide to

the sunroof housing.

2. Push the sunroof drip plate and sunroof lid slide guide

toward the front of sunroof housing until they stop.

CAUTION

If the slide part of the sunroof lid slide guide is positioned
incorrectly, the sunroof may not work normally.
3. Push the slide part of the sunroof lid slide guide forward.

Align the pin center of the slide part with the location shown
in the illustration.

>>B<< SUNROOF PAD INSTALLATION

Align the sunroof pad with the mark on the sunroof housing,
and then install it.

CAUTION

• Disconnect the battery (−) terminal and wait for 60 seconds or more before starting work. Insulate

the disconnected (

−) terminal by wrapping the tape.(Refer to GROUP 52B − Service precautions

P.52B-25

)

• Handle the front impact sensor with sufficient caution, and do not drop the sensor or allow con-

tact with water, oil, or others. If a dent, crack, deformation, and others are discovered, replace it
with a new one.

REMOVAL

Remove the harness clamps and bolts shown in the illustration,
and then remove the headlight support upper panel.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINT

INSTALLATION

After installing the headlight support upper panel, tighten the
bolts shown in the illustration to the specified torques.
