RV METER CHASSIS ELECTRICAL 54A-467 NOTE: The IG1 signal via the ignition switch is used when the IG1 signal cannot be received by CAN COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM PROBABLE CAUSES • Malfunction of the RV meter • Malfunction of the ETACS-ECU • Malfunction of the CAN bus line • Damaged harness wires and connectors DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE STEP 1. M.U.T.-III CAN bus diagnostics Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 2 NO : Repair the CAN bus line (Refer to GROUP − Troubleshooting ). On completion, go to Step 2. STEP 2. Check whether the diagnosis code is set. Q: Is the diagnosis code set? YES : Go to Step 3 NO : Diagnose RV meter (Refer to RV meter, STEP 3. M.U.T-III other system diagnosis code. Q: Is the diagnosis code set? YES : Diagnose ETACS-ECU (Refer to ETACS- ECU, Troubleshooting ). After diagnosing the ETACS-ECU, go to Step 4. NO : Go to Step 4 STEP 4. Check the following connector: C-171 RV Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 5 NO : Repair the defective connector. STEP 5. Measure the resistance at C-171 RV (1) Disconnect the connector, and measure at the AC903856 Connector: C-171 <LHD> AY Harness side C-171 (GR) AC903868 Connector: C-171 <RHD> BQ Harness side C-171 (GR) AC903856 Connector: C-171 <LHD> AY Harness side C-171 (GR) AC903868 Connector: C-171 <RHD> BQ Harness side C-171 (GR) |
