STEP 2. Connector check: E-19 <front-LH>, E-11 
<front-RH> door speaker connector, E-22 <LH> 
or E-09 <RH> rear door speaker connector, E-24 
<LH>, E-25 <RH> tweeter connector

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Go to Step 3.

NO : 

Repair the defective connector.

STEP 3. Check the speaker or tweeter.
(1) Remove the speaker or tweeter. Refer to 

P.54A-

(2) Check that the speaker or tweeter outputs the 

noise when the voltage of 5 V is applied to the 
speaker or tweeter connector terminal.

Q: Do the speaker or tweeter output the noise?

YES : 

Go to Step 4.

NO : 

Replace the speaker or tweeter.

STEP 4. Connector check: D-30 <tweeter> or D-
31 <front door speaker or rear door speaker> 
audio amplifier connector .

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Go to Step 5.

NO : 

Repair the defective connector.

STEP 5. Check the wire harness between the 
speaker or tweeter connector terminal and the 
audio amplifier connector terminal.
Check the communication lines for open circuit and 
short circuit.

•

<Front door speaker (LH)> Check the wire harness 

between E-19 front door speaker (LH) connector 
terminal No.1, 2 and D-31 audio amplifier con-
nector terminal No.8, 18.

NOTE: 

Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check interme-

diate connectors C-134 and C-58, and repair if 
necessary.

terminal No.1, 2 and D-31 audio amplifier con-
nector terminal No.7, 17.

NOTE: 

Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check interme-

diate connectors C-122 and C-58, and repair if 
necessary.

<Rear door speaker (LH)> Check the wire harness 

between E-22 rear door speaker (LH) connector 
terminal No.1, 2 and D-31 audio amplifier con-
nector terminal No.1, 9.

NOTE: Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check 

intermediate connector D-14, and repair if neces-
sary.

<Rear door speaker (RH)> Check the wire harness 

between E-09 rear door speaker (RH) connector 
terminal No.1, 2 and D-31 audio amplifier con-
nector terminal No.2, 10.

NOTE: Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check 

intermediate connector D-24, and repair if neces-
sary.
