CAUTION

• If the special tool (spatula) slides to the side, 

there will be slack at the end of the tape, caus-
ing wrinkles, and the tape may deviate from 
the correct application position.

• If the tape is not applied properly, it may come 

off later.

3. Attach the tapes so that no air bubbles get 

trapped under the surface. For adhesive-type 
tapes, use the special tool Stripe Tape Spatula 
(MB990528) to press down them evenly, starting 
from the centre and working toward the top and 
bottom, so that no air bubbles get trapped 
underneath.

4. For adhesive-type tapes, hold one edge of the 

application tape (surface protective layer) and 
slowly peel it off horizontally. If there are any air 
bubbles in the tape after application, use a sewing 
needle to make small holes in the bubbles, and 
use the corners of the special tool to press the air 
out.
