TROUBLESHOOTING ANTI-SKID BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) 35B-49 STEP 3. Check the fusible link No.21, No.22 or Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 4. NO : Replace the fusible link or fuse. Then go to STEP 4. Battery check − Battery Test . Q: Is the battery in good condition? YES : Go to Step 5. NO : Charge or replace the battery. Then go to STEP 5. Charging system check − Charging System . Q: Is the charging system in good condition? YES : Go to Step 6. NO : Repair or replace the charging system STEP 6. Connector check: A-01 ABS-ECU Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 7. NO : Repair the damaged connector. Then go to STEP 7. Resistance measurement at A-01 ABS- measure at the wiring harness-side connector. (4) Measure the resistance between the A-01 ABS- ECU connector terminal No.1, No.13, No.25 and OK: No continuity Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 8. NO : The short circuit may be present in the STEP 8. Voltage measurement at A-01 ABS-ECU ECU connector terminal No.1, No.13, No.25 and OK: Battery voltage Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 9. NO : The open circuit may be present in the STEP 9. Check whether the diagnosis code is position. (3) Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Q: Is diagnosis code No. C1861 set? YES : Replace the hydraulic unit (integrated with ABS-ECU) (Refer to .). Then go to Step 10. NO : Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP − How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions .). STEP 10. Check whether the diagnosis code is position. (3) Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Q: Is diagnosis code No. C1861 set? YES : Return to Step 1. NO : This diagnosis is complete. |
