Standard value: 120 

 560 k (at 20°C)

3. Remove the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature 

sensor (catalyst temperature).

4. Measure resistance while heating the sensor 

using a hair drier.

Normal condition:

5. If the value deviates from the standard value or 

the resistance remains unchanged, replace the 
No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor (catalyst 
temperature) assembly.

6. Install the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor 

(catalyst temperature) and tighten it to the 
specified torque.

Tightening torque: 30 

± 5 Nm

1. Disconnect the No. 3 exhaust gas temperature 

sensor (DPF temperature) connector.

2. Measure resistance between terminals No. 1 and 

No. 2.

Standard value: 120 

 560 k (at 20°C)

3. Remove the No. 3 exhaust gas temperature 

sensor (DPF temperature).

6. Install the No. 3 exhaust gas temperature sensor 

(DPF temperature) and tighten it to the specified 
torque.

Tightening torque: 30 

± 5 Nm

CAUTION

• When the exhaust differential pressure sensor is replaced, use the M.U.T.-III to initialise the learn-

ing value (Refer to GROUP 00 

 Precautions before Service, Initialisation Procedure for Learning 

Value in DPF System ).

• When the exhaust differential pressure sensor is replaced, perform the forcible DPF regeneration 

after learning value in DPF system (Refer to 

P.17-46

).

• When the No.1, No.2 or No.3 exhaust gas temperature sensor is replaced, perform the forcible DPF 

regeneration (Refer to 

P.17-46

).
