2. Install the upper ball joint (2) into the knuckle (3). 3. Install the upper ball joint retaining nut (4) and tighten to 75 N·m (55 ft. lbs.). 4. Install the wheel speed sensor wire to the upper control arm. 5. Install the tire and wheel. 6. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle. 7. Perform a wheel alignment (Refer to 2 - SUSPEN- SION/WHEEL ALIGNMENT - STANDARD PROCEDURE). UPPER CONTROL ARM DESCRIPTION The upper suspension arms are forged steel and use rubber bushings at each end of the arm. OPERATION The arms mount to the unibody frame rail bracket and the knuckle.
