Removal and installation

REMOVAL

1.

Remove front seat and rear seat cushions. Refer to 

SE-197, "Removal and Installation"

  and 

SE-197,

"Removal and Installation"

 . 

2.

Remove center console and ashtray. Refer to 

IP-14, "CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY"

 . 

3.

Remove front and rear kicking plate. 

4.

Remove front and rear body side welt. 

5.

Remove center pillar lower garnish. 

6.

Remove dash side finisher. 

NOTE:
For steps 3 to 6. Refer to 

EI-37, "Removal and Installation"

 .

7.

Turn hexagon wrench in counterclockwise, and remove acceler-
ator pedal stopper from stud bolts on vehicle. 

●

To install, match holes of footrest over stud bolts on vehicle. 

8.

Remove heater nozzle. 

9.

Cut front part of carpet, and pull to both side. Pull carpet to rear
of vehicle, and remove. 

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal. 

FOOT-REST
Removal

1.

Turn up floor carpet on driver's seat. 

2.

Turn hexagon wrench to counterclockwise, and remove footrest
from stud bolts on vehicle. 

Installation

Install in the reverse order of removal.
