15. Remove the bolts and the connector bracket.

16. Compress the holding tabs and disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core.

17. Remove the A/C compressor. For additional information, refer to AIR CONDITIONING - 

F150 PICKUP .  

18. Remove the drain plug and drain the engine oil.

19. Remove the starter motor. For additional information, refer to STARTER MOTOR .  

20. Remove the A/C tube (muffler) bracket and position aside.
