3. Remove the seat backrest panel. 

1. Pull the trim cover up to expose the backrest panel screws.  

2. Remove the backrest panel screws.  

3. Remove the backrest panel. 

CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat trim cover from the foam pad 

hook and loop strip. The hook and loop strip can be torn from 
the foam pad.

NOTE:

To aid installation, identify the head restraint guides as inboard and 
outboard before removal.

4. Squeeze the tips of the head restraint guides together. Push the guides out of the backrest frame.  

5. Lift the backrest frame from the foam pad. 

NOTE:

To aid installation, identify the trim aprons as inboard and outboard before 
removal.

6. Release the four pin-type retainers (two shown) and remove the two trim aprons (outboard side shown).  

7. Release the trim positioning tabs and remove the inboard latch trim cover.
