8. Install the transmission mount bolts.

9. Install the two heat shield bolts to the crossmember.

10. Remove the transmission support from the transmission.  

11. Connect the clutch hydraulic line.

Four Wheel Drive Vehicles 

12. Connect the transfer case shift lever and install the bolt.  

13. Install the transfer case. For additional information, refer to TRANSFER CASE - F150 PICKUP .  

14. Install the torsion bars and the torsion bar crossmember. For additional information, refer to FRONT - 

4WD TORSION BAR - EXPEDITION, F150 PICKUP & NAVIGATOR . 

15. Install the front driveshaft. For additional information, refer to DRIVESHAFT & UNIVERSAL 

JOINTS .  

16. Install the transfer case heat shield.  

17. Install the skid plate.

Align the index marks made during removal.
