Blackwood 

Disable the air suspension system. See Fig. 1 . Place a wheel chock diagonally opposite of the wheel to be 
raised. For front jacking point, position the jack on the frame rail, behind the front tire. See Fig. 2 . For rear 
jacking point, position the jack under the rear axle as near as possible to the spring mount. See Fig. 4 .

NOTE:

Never lift or support the vehicle by placing the jack or stand under the rear axle 
differential.

FRAME CONTACT HOIST 

Blackwood 

Disable the air suspension. See Fig. 1 . Assure the hoist will not interfere with any lines, hoses, clips or wiring 
harnesses. Position the hoist directly under the frame rails. See Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 .

CAUTION: Damage to suspension, exhaust and steering linkage components may 

occur if care is not exercised when positioning the hoist adapters prior to 
lifting the vehicle.

CAUTION: Assure the hoist to be used is of sufficient capacity to raise and support 

the vehicle. Refer to the hoist manufacturer literature. Damage to 
suspension, exhaust, fuel system and steering linkage components may 
occur if care is not exercised when positioning the hoist adapters prior to 
lifting the vehicle.
