Installation 

1. Install the rear spring. Position the rear spring. Install the nut and bolt. Install the nut and bolt.  

2. Connect the rear axle. On 4x4 equipped vehicles, position the rear spring spacer. Position the U-bolts. 

Install the rear spring plate. Install the nuts.  

3. Remove the Hi-Lift Jack.  

4. Install the wheel and tire assembly.

JACKING & HOISTING 

FLOOR JACK 

F150 Pickup 

The front jacking point for 2WD is a flat portion on the frame. See Fig. 2 . The front jacking point for 4WD is a 
raised boss located on the front suspension lower arm. See Fig. 3 . The rear jacking points are located on the 
rear axle. See Fig. 4 . 

WARNING:

On Blackwood, before lifting vehicle equipped with air suspension 
system, turn service switch to OFF position. Failure to turn off air 
suspension system may result in unexpected inflation or deflation of air 
shocks or springs. Switch is located at right kick panel. See Fig. 1 .

WARNING:

Do not run the engine when jacking the vehicle. The wheels contacting 
the ground could cause the vehicle to move. Support the vehicle prior to 
performing any procedure requiring the vehicle to be jacked off the 
ground. Make sure the jack and jack stands are properly located to 
prevent the vehicle from falling. Wheel chocks should be used to prevent 
the vehicle from rolling and falling off the jack. Never use a halfshaft as a 
lifting point. Never use the differential housing as a lifting point.
