43. Install the weatherstripping and the passenger door scuff plate.

44. Install the passenger side corner upper trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR 

TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION . 

WARNING:

Make sure that the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to 
installation.

45. Install the passenger side safety belt guide. 

1. Position the safety belt guide.  

2. Install the nut. 

3. Close the safety belt guide cover. 

CAUTION: Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide cover for damage. If the 

shoulder safety belt guide cover is damaged or if it does not 
remain closed, install a new shoulder safety belt guide cover.

All Vehicles 

46. Remove the restraint system diagnostic tool from the vehicle harness side of the passenger air bag 

electrical connector.

47. Connect the passenger air bag module electrical connector.
