CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SWITCH

Removal & Installation 

Disconnect the clutch pedal position switch electrical connector. Release the CPP switch from the orientation 
clip. See Fig. 61 . Push the plastic retainer lock tabs together (1). See Fig. 62 . Slide the plastic retainer off the 
CPP switch (2). Remove the CPP switch. See Fig. 63 . To install, reverse the removal procedure.

CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

Removal & Installation 

Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. On V8 and V10 models, remove A/C compressor 
to gain access. On all models, disconnect Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor wire connector from engine 
harness. See 

Fig. 64

 or Fig. 65 . Remove CKP sensor mounting screws. Remove CKP sensor. To install, reverse 

removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

NOTE:

Engine design precisely locates Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor. No CKP 
sensor adjustment is necessary.

WARNING:

On Blackwood and Navigator models, the air suspension system must be 
shut off prior to hoisting or jacking vehicle. Turn off the air suspension 
switch, located below the glove box in the lower right side of the 
passenger foot well.
