5. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.  

6. Remove the push pin, and pull the splash shield froward off of the throttle body locating stud.

7. Remove the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.

Rotate the throttle lever and unclip the accelerator cable.

8. Depress the retaining tabs on the accelerator cable and remove the accelerator cable from the upper intake 

manifold. Remove the accelerator cable from the vehicle.

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.  

ACCELERATOR CABLE - 4.6L 

Removal and Installation 

1. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.
