Installation 

NOTE:

Replace the fuel line O-ring seal.

NOTE:

Lubricate the fuel line O-ring seal with 5W30 engine oil meeting Ford 
specification WSS-M2C153-G or equivalent prior to installation, to help 
seal and ease the installation.

NOTE:

When tightening the fuel lines, a torque wrench adapter must be used with 
the torque wrench. The use of a torque wrench adapter will alter the 
effective torque of the torque wrench being used. To correct the effective 
torque, a torque multiplication conversion must be used; Refer to 
TORQUE MULTIPLICATION CONVERSION .

1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

Removal 

1. Remove the fuel filler valve; refer to FILLER VALVE - FUEL .  

2. Position the fuel filler valve in a vise.  

3. Remove the fitting from the fuel filler valve.
