8. Disconnect the fuel tank solenoid valve. 

1. Disconnect the high-pressure fuel line from the fuel tank solenoid valve.  

2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel tank solenoid valve.

9. Place identification marks on the fuel tank support straps and tank.  

10. Remove the upper stone shield support strap. 

1. Remove the retaining bolt and nut.  

2. Remove the upper stone shield support strap.

11. Install the powertrain lift with tilting plate. 

1. Position the powertrain lift with tilting plate.  

2. Secure the fuel tank with a nylon tie-down strap.

12. Remove the rear fuel tank support strap. 

1. Remove the retaining nut.  

2. Remove the rear fuel tank support strap, and position aside.
