Removal 

1. Remove the crankshaft damper. For additional information, refer to CRANKSHAFT 

PULLEY .  

2. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft front seal. Discard the crankshaft front seal.

Installation 

1. Inspect the crankshaft damper and the engine front cover for damage that may cause the 

crankshaft front seal to fail. 

NOTE:

Lubricate parts with engine oil before assembly.

2. Using the special tool, install the crankshaft front seal.  

3. Install the crankshaft pulley. For additional information refer to CRANKSHAFT 

PULLEY .
