6. Install the engine lifting eye and nuts.

7. Install the ignition coil. For additional information, refer to COILS .

Removal 

1. Remove the drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE - F150 

PICKUP .  

2. Remove the fan blade assembly. For additional information, refer to ENGINE 

COOLING .  

3. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, 

MOUNTING AND CABLES - F150 PICKUP .  

4. Raise the vehicle on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & 

HOISTING .  

5. Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt.
