2. Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle nail head. 

1. Open the throttle valve.  

2. Slide the throttle cable to disconnect from the throttle cam nail head.  

3. Squeeze the speed control cable tabs and remove from the throttle cable bracket.

3. Remove the speed control cable from the retaining clips.  

4. Depress the locking tab and rotate the speed control cable cap to remove.

5. Remove the speed control cable. 

1. Gently push the retaining spring.  

2. Disconnect the speed control cable slug from the speed control servo pulley.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.  

SPEED CONTROL SERVO 

Removal and Installation 

1. To remove the speed control cable cap depress the locking tab and rotate the cap. 

NOTE:

Make sure the rubber seal is fully seated onto the speed control cable cap.
