5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.  

COMPACT DISC (CD) CHANGER - REGULAR CAB 

Removal and Installation 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301).  

2. Remove the CD changer cover and electrical connector cover.  

3. If equipped, remove the rear storage compartment. 

1. Remove the nuts.  

2. Remove the rear storage compartment.

4. Remove the nuts and the CD changer.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Speakers - F150 Pickup 

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION 

SPEAKERS 

On regular cab vehicles: 

z

The rear speakers (18808) are located behind the rear corner trim panel (278D12) below the front safety 
belt retractor and tongue (611B08).  

z

The front speakers are located behind the front door trim panel (23942). 

On SuperCab vehicles: 

z

The rear speakers are located behind the rear door trim panels (27406) in the rear doors.  

z

The front speakers are located behind the front door trim panels.  

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 

SPEAKERS - DOOR MOUNTED 

Removal and Installation 

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL or TRIM PANEL -- REAR 

DOOR .  

2. Remove the speaker. 

1. Remove the screws.  

2. Disconnect the electrical connector.  

3. Remove the speaker.
