10. Install the manual detent spring.
11. Install but do not tighten the manual detent spring bolt.

12. Install the transmission fluid pressure switch.
13. Install but do not tighten the valve body bolts which retain the transmission fluid pressure
switch to the valve body.
NOTE:
Torque valve body bolts in a spiral pattern starting from the

14. Tighten the valve body bolts in a spiral pattern starting from the center, as indicated by the
arrows.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

distorted and inhibit valve operation.

15. Ensure that the manual detent spring is aligned properly with the detent lever.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
