be between the marks of MIN and MAX.
When the engine is hot, the fluid level
may   exceed   the   MAX   due   to   heat
expansion. 

ONLY add coolant when engine is cool.
If you have to add it while the engine is
hot, wait for 10 minutes till the engine is
cool.   Firstly   unscrew   the   cap  for  ¼
circles   to  relieve  the   accumulated
pressure. Then open it after a period of
time.   Finally   add   the   mixture   of   50%
water and 50% coolant.

Warning:   Avoid   coolant
splashing  on   any   parts

of vehicle when add the fluid.

Engine Coolant

Prevent  the   fluid  from
contact with skin or eye.

If  it  happens,   wash   it   with
enough  water   and   consult   a
doctor immediately.

Coolant   with  proper   concentration
cannot   only  prevent  engine  from
freezing,   but   also  provide  corrosion
protection.   Modern   engine   operates
with   high   temperature.  Therefore,
inferior   coolant   cannot  protect  engine
from corrosion.

Always  use  coolant  conforms  to  Chery
specification. Please  refer to  “Capacity
and Specification” for details.

Please   do   not  use
coolants   mixed 

with

different

 

colors

 

and

specifications.

Add   coolant   when   engine   is
cooled down

Check  the  Power   Steering
Fluid Level 

When the engine is cold, the level shall
reach the mark of MAX. If the level is
below   the   mark   of   MIN.,   please  add
specified fluid.

Battery

Battery   does   not   require   much
maintenance,  so its  liquid  level will be
checked in regular maintenance.

The   onboard   battery   is   completely
maintenance   free.  Please   do   not   use
battery of other types. The current and
capacity of new battery shall agree with
the   used   one   or  conform   to  Chery
specification.   Please   contact   Chery
Authorized   Service   Station   for  proper
specification.

Windscreen Washer system

The front and rear washers are watered
by the same reservoir. If necessary, mix
the  water and windscreen shampoo  in
1:20.

Refer to the instruction on the reservoir
for proper concentration.

Please  screw  the   cap  home  after

mixing.

Check 

for

 Windscreen

Wiper Blade 

Slide your fingertip on the edge of the
blade to check its coarseness. Grease,
silicone   and   fuel   might

 cause

malfunction  of  the   blade.  It  is
recommended  to  clean  the blade with
glass shampoo.

Wiper Blade Replacement

Raise  the   wiper   arm  till  it  becomes   a
right   angle  to  the   blade.   Press   the
spring retainer following the arrow, and
then oppositely pull the blade out of the
wiper arm to extract the blade.

Tire

To   ensure   your   safety,   please   refuel
only after the tire is cooled down.

Please   check   the   tire   pressure  ONLY
after the tire is cooled down  (including

spare   wheels).  And   refer   to  “Capacity
and   Specification”   for  recommended
pressure value.

Comply with correct tire pressure when
driving   at  high-load   and   high-speed.
Insufficient  pressure may  result in  less
reliability,  larger  rolling   resistance  and
grave  tire   abrasion,   and   consequently
traffic accident will occur.

If you have to drive onto the road edge,
maintain low speed and keep the wheel
in right angle to approach  the roadside
if possible. Avoid upstanding and sharp
obstacles.  And brake carefully to avoid
the tire side being scratched.

Regularly   check   the   tire   surface   for
scratch,   foreign   objects   and   uneven
abrasion.   Uneven   abrasion   indicates
the   wheels  are  not  being   properly

positioned.

Regulations  specify  the   depth   of   the
abrasion  on the  tire  surface. When the
depth   reaches   the   limit   of   3mm,   an
abrasion  zone  will  appear   on  the  tire,
which   indicates   the   tire   must   be
replaced  due  to   tire  reliability   and
security is greatly reduced.

Dispose   the

 worn 

tire

according

 

to

 

local

environmental   protection  regulations.
Change the winter tire to summer tire
as   soon   as   road  condition  permits,
which can reduce fuel consumption and

lower the noise.

Wheel Replacement

Improper  tire and wheel
may  result   in  accident,

and not covered by the warranty.

Your   wheel   is   carefully   chosen   to
ensure optimum operation, comfort and
security.   The   above   specifications   for
tire  and  wheel   are  also   applicable  for
steel  or  aluminum-alloy  wheel.  Please
contact   Chery  Authorized   Service
Station  for   other  applicable   tire   and
wheel. 

It is recommended to use original tire or
refer to Chery recommendations.

If   you  intend  to   install
untypical   tire   or   wheel

(e.g.,  light-alloy  wheel  or winter

tire), please comply with relating
instructions  or   contact   Chery
Authorized Service Station. 

Notice:

The speedometer is  affected by wheel
dimension. If the diameter of the wheel
is different with the original one, please
send  your  vehicle to Chery Authorized
Service   Station

 to 

adjust   the

speedometer.   Otherwise,   you   cannot
get   the   correct  speed   indication  from
the speedometer.

Snow Chain

Snow chain can be applied to all of the
summer   and   winter   tires   listed   in   the
table, but only applicable to the driving
wheel (front wheel).
