1) 

Installation of the lock pin 

    Install  the  lock  pin  on  the  position  shown  in 

the left figure. 

    CAUTION: After the lock pin is taped in, the 

axle  shaft  gear  and  the  planetary  gear  shall 

operate normally. 

 

2) 

Installation  of  the  front/rear  bearing  of 

differential 

 

 

 

3) 

Installation  of  the  driven  gear  of  main 

reducing gear 

(1)  Apply  the  sealant  on  the  full  screw 

threads of a bolt. 

 

 

 

(2)  Screw  up  the  bolt  in  the  sequence, 

shown  in  the  left  figure,  to  the 

specified torque (132N.M).

 Chery   Automobile   International   Company   (hereinafter   refers   to   "Chery"   or   "Chery

Company”) provides you warranty service. Meanwhile, Chery Company requires you to use
the car strictly in accordance with this instruction manual. Especially please carefully read
the chapter "Service  of  Warranty" in this manual so as to avoid forfeiting your rights  of
enjoying the warranty service due to any violation of application regulations.  

 It   is   strictly   prohibited   to   refit   or   install   any   devices,   especially   those   systems   involving

electrical,   braking   and   steering   devices   that   might   jeopardize  driving  safety.  Chery
Company would be under no obligation for any direct or indirect damage resulted from
refitting or installing extra devices in the vehicle without warrant.  

 The Company establishes technical maintenance specifications of different phases for the

vehicle.  It   includes   maintenance   for   free  on  initial   5000   km.   The   above   specified
maintenance  items  are crucial for your vehicle  safety  as well as maintaining fine running
conditions, so please abide by without violation.  

 Running-in and routine maintenance for a new vehicle is for prolonging its service life and

protecting user's lawful rights and interests. Any conduct involving no maintenance within
stipulated time and mileage, or improper operation of vehicle, or no seal or signature to the
maintenance record as required, shall be deemed as an automatic waiver of the right for
warranty   service.   Meanwhile,  Chery  Company   will   be   under   no   obligation   for   warranty
service in a normal sense.  

 Please   use   spare   parts   (genuine   ones)   provided   by   Chery   Company,   and   purchase

"genuine spare parts" from Chery Authorized Service Stations. And Chery Company would
be under no obligation for any direct or indirect losses resulted from using "non-genuine
spare parts", 

 If any failure occurs to the vehicle in service, overhaul must be carried out  only by a Chery

Authorized Service Station. And during the process of overhaul, Chery Authorized Service
Station has the right to carry out maintenance via repair or substitute equivalent spare
parts.  

 Please   by   all  means   drive  your  car  to  Chery  Authorized  Service   Stations  for  service  or

maintenance.  Skillful   auto   repair  technicians   will   provide   you  high   quality   repairing   or
maintenance service.  

 Please bring this manual for assistance at any time. If you resell your vehicle to someone

else, complete set of vehicle files must be handed over to the new owner.  

 If you are still not quite clear about this instruction manual somewhere, Chery Company as

well as its authorized service stations will interpret in more details.
